John W. Glueckert, Jr. is a second-generation funeral director, born and raised in Arlington Heights. After attending public school in Arlington Heights, he graduated from Ripon College in Wisconsin and then Worsham College of Mortuary Science. He has been an Illinois licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1983.
John has been a member of Rotary Clubs in Arlington Heights for over 35 years including charter member of the Breakfast and Sunset Clubs. Having joined the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights “Noon Club” in the mid-1980s.He has been a Wheeling Township Cemetery Trustee since 1999 and has been a board member of the Arlington Heights Senior Center, Inc. since 2010, member of St. James Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Holy Rosary Council #4483 and the Elizabeth Ann Seton Assembly.
